Consequence Releases Teaser To New Kanye West Diss; Refers To Ye' As A 'Pupper Master'
After countless attacks on his former allies at the G.O.O.D. Music camp, Consequence is ready to shed more light into his issues with leader Kanye West. In a new video teaser, the Queens Native brings everyone to the table, insuitiating Kanye West to be a "puppet master" of sorts. The test captions read:
We can only guess for now, but it looks like the world willl know exactly why Cons is determined to bring down Mr. West.
Some stories end in sweet success. There are people in life who are born with a gift to control the masses through a magic known as… self expression. Here’s the problem… you have some who think they have this ability and others who are robbed for it… But by who??
The.. puppet masters. They are the ones who are put in place to ensure that any wizard on the horizon relinquishes his power to the king.. the only one who can stop the king and his court is… the warrior and it’s been done before… and will happen again.

50 CENT BLASTS INTERSCOPE RECORDS, THREATENS TO LEAK DR. DRE SINGLE
50 Cent spewed more venom on Twitter. The controversial rapper made headlines once again with a series of fiery tweets aimed at his record label.
The G-Unit captain had announced plans to release his fifth album this fall, but is now threatening to pump the brakes. “Man I’m not releasing a album i can’t believe interscope is this f*cked up right now. I apologize to all my fans,” wrote a fuming 50.
His anger is likely related to the handling of his latest single “Outlaw,” which is currently No. 141 on iTunes. “I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album,” he continued. “They dropped the ball with me one time to many.”
As part of his wrath, he vowed to leak a single off Dr. Dre’s Detox. “I LOVE DRE but I’m putting his next single psycho out tomorrow at 2:00 #SK,” he said. “Your gonna love it its a big song I just don’t think it deserves a great set up sense they can’t seem to get it right when it comes to me.”
UPDATE: 50 returned to Twitter this morning, venting over the leak of one of his new records. “I don’t know how I can record 41 song for my album and the one song I give interscope leaks But I don’t care its good music,” he said. “I hate when I can’t present my music the way. I feel it should be but f*ck it check out I’m ON IT.”
He also backed off his threat to leak Dre’s record. “I wouldn’t leak dre’s record he has done nothing but help me in my career. jimmy has always been supportive of me.”

KREAYSHAWN PERFORMS ‘GUCCI GUCCI’ AT MTV [VIDEO]
Kreayshawn performed to a room full of bad bitches (or so she claimed) at MTV’s Times Square studio in New York City earlier this month. With only a mic and DJ, the tatted rapper put on a live version of “Gucci Gucci,” the song that helped land her a lucrative contract with Columbia Records.
“When I was growing up, I would listen to all kinds of music,” said the Oakland artist, who recently directed a video for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. “My mom was like a music fiend, so she was playing everything from salsa to hardcore rap music to rebel punk music, so I got a little bit of everything.”
Kreayshawn will compete against Tyler, the Creator, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, and Foster the People for Best New Artist at next month’s MTV Video Music Awards.

Review Roundup: Kelly Rowland – ‘Here I Am’
Kelly Rowland forges her own path with her third solo album Here I Am, hitting stores today. The Destiny’s Child diva calls upon hitmakers Rico Love, Tricky Stewart, Jim Jonsin, Rodney Jerkins, and RedOne, as well as Big Sean (“Lay It on Me”) and Lil Wayne (“Motivation”) for the collection of R&B-dance tracks. Did Kelly sing her way into the good graces of her critics? Find out below.
Entertainment Weekly: Her third solo album, Here I Am, proves that Ms. Rowland is doing just fine on her own, thank you; it’s a solid if unambitious set of medium-hot finger snappers highlighted by the lusciously slinky top 20 hit “Motivation” and the robo-groove of “I’m Dat Chick,” on which she brags, “Yeah, I be the one that they love to mention.” If she learns to take a few more risks, that may just end up being true. B
USA Today: As it turns out, Here I Am is something both safer and cannier than that. Capitalizing on her successful collaboration with producer/DJ David Guetta—with whom she teamed two years ago on the international dance hit “When Love Takes Over”—Rowland emphasizes electro-savvy grooves and sleekly sensual production over introspection or chutzpah. 2.5/4
The New York Times: But Here I Am is something much more confident and more surprising. It’s a chewy and moody R&B album on which Ms. Rowland sounds assured and vital. Or, at minimum, is made to sound that way.
Los Angeles Times: She does herself no favors by choosing consistently bland material, and her third album does nothing to dispel the sense that Rowland should be more selective. There’s a deflated, defensive quality to Here I Am, starting with the lead track, “I’m Dat Chick.” 1/4
The Washington Post: Her third solo album, the perfectly likable, club-centric R&B outing Here I Am, won’t convince anyone that Rowland has a personality, but luckily for her, she no longer needs one: Call it the Attack of the Rihanna Clones, but these days killer beats and a flat affect trump all. Rowland, free of the need to actually be interesting, makes the most of it.
The Boston Globe: Since Rowland is trying to define her singularity here, it probably would have been wiser to move away from a rote ballad like “Keep It Between Us” and some diagramed arrangements that feature hot MCs like Big Sean or Lil Playy putting punctuations on lyrics. They sound like new iterations of the formula set out for many other female pop and R&B artists.
San Francisco Chronicle: It’s no surprise to find that her third solo album is an unremarkable, pedestrian pastiche of current R&B radio, jumping from unconvincing self-affirmation anthems (“I’m Dat Chick”) to hopelessly submissive hip-hop cuts (“Lay It on Me”). The material exhibits none of the depth or silky sheen of her former outfit or its breakout leader, but instead settles for something a little more crass that not even the outstanding “Motivation,” the hit collaboration with Lil Wayne, can repair. 1/4
What Are You Guys Thoughts On The Album?

“Earlier on this year, I made this video and never posted it,” wrote the “It Kills Me” singer. “Today, it’s all I can do to express my gratitude to one of my favorite artists. May your music live on to inspire others, as it has inspired me. R.I.P. AMY WINEHOUSE. xo.”

Big Boi Hopes to Reunite with André 3000 on Next Album
Those hoping for an OutKast reunion may not have to wait too much longer. While a full album remains up in the air, Big Boi reveals that the partners in rhyme could reunite for a record on his next solo album.
“I think it’s very much possible because we have L.A. Reid in our corner now, and he was the first to sign OutKast,” Big Boi told Rolling Stone.
Jive Records, which is currently home to the Atlanta duo, blocked André 3000 from appearing on Big Boi’s 2010 solo debut, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty (Island Def Jam). Reid recently became chairman of Epic Records and would presumably be in the position to clear André’s verse.
“L.A. has permission to make it happen now,” added Big Boi. “So I hope it does, and I don’t really see why it won’t.”
Big Boi’s next solo album, tentatively titled Daddy Fat Sax: Soul Funk Crusader, will feature a collaboration with Janelle Monáe and is due for release by the end of the year.

Amy Winehouse Found Dead in London
Amy Winehouse was found dead Saturday at her London home, according to police. She was 27.
Authorities confirmed that a 27-year-old female was pronounced dead at an apartment in Northern London’s Camden Square, but the cause of death was not immediately known. Winehouse, who was not identified by name, had died before ambulances arrived at the scene.
“Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased,” read a press release from the Metropolitan Police. “On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.”
The soul-jazz singer rose to fame with the release of her 2006 album Back to Black, which won five Grammys and made the beehived singer one of music’s most recognizable stars.
She publicly battled an addiction to drugs and alcohol and was in and out of rehab several times throughout the years.
Celebrities flooded Twitter with their condolences, including Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Nas. “R.I.P Sis. Why u couldn’t chill???? why the F*ck U Leave? Love U Sis!” wrote a saddened Nas.
‘Watch the Throne’ Gets iTunes Release Date
There have been many plausible release dates floating around for Watch the Throne, but nothing has been officially announced. Now iTunes reveals what appears to be the most credible date yet for Jay-Z and Kanye West’s highly-anticipated LP.
The digital retailer has posted an “expected release” date of Monday, August 8. The standard and deluxe editions are also available for pre-order.
While the date reflects a digital release, it is not currently known if the physical album will also arrive that day or at a later time.
A new track called “Otis” was released earlier this week and is also available for download now, while the album features appearances from Beyoncé, Frank Ocean, and Mr Hudson.
A behind-the-scenes documentary surfaced online on Friday, but was quickly pulled due to its premature leak.
New Music: Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, & Curren$y – ‘Proceed’
Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, and Curren$y dropped three free tracks this week off their forthcoming mixtape and just when you think they’re done, they “Proceed” to give you more of what you need. The Taylor Gang leader raps about “good weed and cold drinks” while Sean shares advice from his idol and mentor Kanye West on the laid-back Cardo beat. Take a hit of their latest.
Drake Taps Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, & His Emotions for ‘Take Care’
Drake took hip-hop by storm with his platinum-selling debut. But he’s not letting the success get to his head. The Canadian rapper returned home to record his sophomore album Take Care, and offered a sneak peek into the low-key recording sessions.
Young Money’s breakout star invited Rolling Stone to preview several tracks in various stages of completion. “I hate singles. … With this album, I want to tell a whole story,” explained the 24-year-old of the follow-up to Thank Me Later. “I don’t want people to just hear a piece and judge the album on that.”
He has been recording in longtime producer Noah “40″ Shebib’s studio in Toronto. “This is home,” he said. “If I’m in a big expensive studio, it starts messing with my head about what kind of music I should be making.”
With his second offering, he’s taking it slow and delving further into his emotions. “I wasn’t able to slow down and realize what was going on around me,” he said of his debut. “The whole process has been about slowing life down and really pinpointing emotions.”
Among the tracks set to make the cut is the melancholy “Shot for Me,” produced by 40, which may serve as the album’s opener. “Bitch, I’m the man,” he moans over aching synthesizers and high-hats.
Rick Ross appears on “Free Spirit,” which includes the refrain “Tat my name on you so I know it’s real,” while his YMCMB cohort Lil Wayne spits a verse on “The Real Her,” which is described as “a narcotically woozy love song with detuned pianos.”
Drake is eyeing collaborations with The Weeknd, DJ Premier, Florence and the Machine’s Florence Welch, and the xx’s Jamie Smith before the project’s release on October 24.
New Music: Game – ‘Uncle Otis’
Game is all fired up on “Uncle Otis,” which borrows its title from Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne single. The controversial rapper takes shots at his peers including Jay (“Ni**as think they the coldest, but ni**a you just the oldest”), Diddy (“I don’t wear Sean John”), Kreayshawn (“Lil’ white bitch, better stay in your place”), Odd Future (“I created Tyler, the Creator”), and Lupe Fiasco (“The show goes on till I start aiming the lasers at Lupe”), among others, while borrowing the melody from Big Sean’s “My Last.” No one is safe.
