Beyoncé gave fans a rare look inside her world during the half-hour special “Beyoncé: Year of 4,” which premiered on television earlier tonight. The documentary followed the 29-year-old superstar’s personal and artistic journey over the past year.
After enjoying some down time at the end of her “I Am…” tour, B gets back to business, gearing up for her fourth solo album4. She is shown practicing choreography, jetting around the world, shooting the video for “Run the World (Girls),” and narrowing down her album with help from her team and Jay-Z.
Old and new fans will gain a new appreciation for the unstoppable diva. “I am a workaholic and I don’t believe in no. I don’t believe in I need to sleep. If I’m not sleeping, nobody’s sleeping,” said the worker B. “I’m one human being. It’s a lot. If I want to be a businesswoman, I’m a businesswoman. Independence is not easy.”
